How do I know which days my class meets? I’m having trouble interpreting the codes in the schedule.
Use the following key when reading the schedule: “R” Thursday
“T” Tuesday
“MTR” Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
“MTTH” Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
“MTWR” Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday
“TH” Thursday
“TR” Tuesday and Thursday

How do I find or print my schedule?
- Login to your SOS account
- Click on My Registration
- Click on Print Options – Schedule/Fee Bill
- Click on Print Schedule/Fee Bill
- Select the Current Term and your schedule will be displayed for printing
What is my “G #”?
This is your generated student identification number. Your Student ID # is found by signing into your SOS account. Your Student ID # also appears on your College ID card, and your schedule bill. This number is used in place of your social security number on many college documents in order to better protect your privacy.
How do I make an appointment for Counseling?
The Counseling centers see students on a walk in basis. There are no appointments necessary, and students sign in at the counseling office to place themselves in line.
How do I make a payment?
You can make a payment online using your SOS account, or in person at any campus business office.
How To Make A Payment Online / View Balance Owed
- Log into SOS
- My Student Records, Registration, and Financial Aid
- Click on My Registration
- Click on Step 6: Registration Fee Assessment/Credit Card Payment
- Choose term and Credit or Continuing Education
- If there’s a balance due from a previous semester, choose Current Term
- Click on Student Account Suite
- A new window opens with payment information – click on Make a Payment within this window.
How do I request a transcript?
Come into Enrollment Services with a government-issued picture ID and complete a Transcript Request Form. If the student has no holds on their records, Enrollment Services can print a transcript while they wait, or a transcript can be requested via fax or mail.
What makes a transcript “official”?
A transcript may be mailed or hand delivered sealed in its original envelope from the issuing institution, and must be less than thirty days old.

What is your financial aid school code?
School code 003609 should be listed on the FAFSA website, regardless of the SJC campus you will attend.
How do I find out if I am in the District?
Visit www.hcad.org in order to see if San Jacinto College District is among the entities to which taxes are paid annually by the property owner.
How do I change my major?
An in-person visit with a counselor is required to change your major.
