Mission and Vision

Mission:

The aSPIRE Team at San Jacinto College provides innovative and creative research and data analyses to inform decisions that make a positive and visible impact on student success.

Vision:

The aSPIRE Team takes pride in and is rewarded by our ethical and honest contributions to the college community through guidance, communication, and transparency in a challenging and continuously learning environment.

Key functions of the Department include:

• Organize, analyze and interpret a wide range of institutional and external data to assist decision-making processes;
• Collaborate with San Jac colleagues and the community to plan and implement sound research-based surveys, data collection, and the use of fact-based information;
• Compile, measure and report evidence of key performance indicators at San Jac.
• Coordinate and submit data for external reporting to government agencies.
