San Jacinto College Information Technology Services (ITS) supports more than 27,000 students, 1,200 full and part time faculty and staff located in all 3 campuses, district office, and extension centers or remotely through distance learning programs and virtual services. ITS:
- provides onsite and help desk customer service, systems management, telephony, information management, web development and project management services
- has 85 budgeted full time staff
- operates 7 days per week
- has over 27,000 customers
- receives over 40,000 service requests annually
- supports 5,500 computers (Dell PC’s and Apple Macs)
- supports over 30,000 virtual desktops
- supports 50 physical servers scalable to over 250 virtual servers
- supports 280 multi-media classrooms
- supports Banner ERP & Blackboard LMS
- supports 465 software packages
