A new BSN program begins each fall and spring semester. Designed for working RNs,
our program is 100% online. Learn more about the structure and class requirements
below.
The BSN program is taught in eight-week increments, instead of a standard 16-week
semester. The program includes:
Associate Degree Nursing Transfer Credits:
Associate Degree Nursing Transfer Credits:
- 34 semester credit hours (SCH) will be applied to your RN-to-BSN degree
- General Education Courses: 55 SCH are included in the degree
- Upper-Level Nursing Courses: 31 SCH hours of BSN-level nursing courses

You can apply to the program even if you haven’t finished all the required courses yet. However, your application won’t show your final grades, which may make it harder for you to get in. You also get more points based on our admissions rubric for courses you’ve completed. Because of this, we recommend you complete all your courses before applying. Additionally, this will help you do well in the upper-level nursing courses once you’re in the program.

The clinicals required for this program are:
- Community Health Nursing - This course includes simulated online and practical learning opportunities. You will travel to designated communities and maintain a log of activities throughout the course. At the end of the course, you will present your findings based on your community assessments.
- Research and Evidence-Based Nursing Practice and Leadership/Management Courses - These courses are designed to teach you how to analyze data to determine best practices for your place of employment. Clinical hours are not required for this course. You will develop, and possibly implement a change management project. You will have the opportunity to select a topic that fits your aspired/actual places of employment.
